About This Plant

Not recommended. Included here as an example of aggressive non-native species to avoid in southwest Texas. Vitex spreads aggressively by seed, especially around limestone outcrops, dry creekbeds and riparian areas. It has shown a weedy tendency to escape cultivation and invade natural areas.
