About This Plant

Sun/part shade; evergreen. An extremely tough graceful wiregrass with long firm leaves resembling nolina or liriope. Very slow growing, but strongly architectural, eventually forming a low woody trunk. This widely-used species complements almost any landscape design. Cream-colored flower plumes appear in spring and summer.

Origins: Tamaulipas and northeastern Mexico
