Sun or partial shade. An herbaceous perennial, dying back to the roots in cold weather. Very pretty, with pink blooms in spring and often throughout the warm season, forming low-growing colonies. Uncommon in the horticultural trade, but common as a wildflower.

Origins: South-central US and northern Mexico
