Japanese Boxwood

Buxus microphylla

About This Plant

Partial sun or dappled shade. Evergreen. A dainty boxwood, with glossy oval leaves. It’s small and naturally rounded, suitable for low hedges or specimens; it looks great with yuccas, agaves and other plants with big gray leaves. Once established, Japanese boxwood can tolerate Texas summer heat without supplemental water, as long as it has enough shade.
