Sun/part shade; semi-evergreen, with unusual leaves that completely encircle the stems. Clusters of coral-colored blooms appear during warm weather and may persist into winter.
Unlike the extremely invasive Japanese honeysuckle, this Texas native is very well-behaved and non-aggressive. It is also extremely attractive to hummingbirds, even when grown on a garage fence.
