Chinese Holly (Dwarf)

Ilex cornuta 'Rotunda'

Dwarf Chinese Holly

About This Plant

Sun or shade; evergreen, with distinctive “horned” holly leaves bearing spiny points. This dwarf form is nicely compact (about half the size of Dwarf Burford holly) — deterring intruders from windows or other corners of the landscape. Like any holly, Dwarf Chinese bears plentiful red berries in winter, although they can be hard to see, thanks to the dense foliage.

Origins: East Asia

Maintenance
