Sun; partially evergreen in mild winters, with tiny leaflets and spikes of delicate white flowers from spring to fall. Whitebrush forms spreading thickets with plentiful cover for animals. Use it in native edges or bee- and butterfly gardens.
Although common in the wild and area parks, whitebrush is rare in the commercial trade; preserve what you have on-site, or find it in specialty native nurseries.
Whitebrush can be poisonous to horses; deer do not prefer it either.
