You’ll get an up-close-and-personal look at the path of poop water as it journeys through the Steven M. Clouse Water Recycling Center. The award-winning facility is a national example of SAWS’ leadership in water management innovation.
Formerly known as Dos Rios, the Clouse WRC is the largest of SAWS’ three wastewater treatment plants. The majority of San Antonio’s sewage has been flowing into the South Side plant for processing since 1987. Today, the facility remains a cornerstone of the city’s sewage system.
