February 22 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Cuttings being taken from a plant during a greenhouse demonstration

Learn how to grow new plants and help conserve Texas native plant species with the Native Plant Society of Texas through this two-hour propagation class! We’ll start by discussing the different ways plants can be propagated, then dive into a hands-on session using Texas native plants you can take home to grow. Promoting the use of Texas native plants encourages water conservation and supports local ecosystems. Instructor: Zach Ritchie, San Antonio Botanical Garden Conservation Technician and Jerry Morrisey, Native Plant Society of Texas, San Antonio.

Fee: $25 ($20 SABOT members). Registration closes when filled.
