This month Gardening Essentials Class hits the road! Elizabeth Johnson will provide an interactive cooking demonstration utilizing her own garden for ingredients. With a lifelong passion for global cooking and holistically nourishing the body through food, Chef Elizabeth Johnson’s background reflects her complementary philosophies at her restaurant Pharm Table. We will visit Elizabeth’s own garden (a short 2-block walk) to encourage attendees to grow their own native, drought tolerant plants that are edible too!
Session 2: Diana Kersey will present the advantages of incorporating “ollas” into your gardening practices as a way to successfully grow native plants and trees while conserving water! Attendees will have the opportunity to make their own olla during this class.
