Shut-off Valve Rebate
Speed matters when a pipe break or leak threatens to damage your home. Install a new water shut-off valve with help from a licensed plumber and get a $100 SAWS Rebate.
Rebate Benefits
- You save $100
- Year-Round
How It Works
STEP 1: Before Scheduling a Plumber
Read the rebate agreement and check your eligibility. Customers must be installing a new shutoff valve; replacement shutoffs do not qualify for this rebate.
STEP 2: Install the Shutoff Valve
Have a licensed plumber install the new shutoff valve near the meter and note the type of service line pipe on the receipt. The new shutoff must be a ball valve installed after March 16, 2022. No gate valves allowed.
STEP 3: Apply for $100 Rebate
Submit your application with a copy of the receipt and a photo of the new valve. Applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Once approved, you will receive a rebate up to $100 as a credit on your SAWS account. Applications accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit 2,000.
Minimize Water Damage
Quickly cut off water to your home with a customer shut-off valve before a burst pipe or leak causes extensive damage. Get up to a $100 credit on your SAWS water bill.
To qualify, your customer-owned shut-off valve must be a new installation, not a replacement, and located near the meter to cut off all flow to the property.
